The Awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of individuals, clubs, and other organisations that help to promote and develop clay shooting in England. There are eight different awards which will be presented on the night, each focusing on a different aspect of the sport to acknowledge outstanding achievement in that field.
We are proud to be sponsoring Young Shot of the Year again this year. This category rewards the success and progress made by an outstanding young shooter over the year. We believe in supporting young athletes with their shooting careers through our sponsorship program but also through awards like this that recognise the achievements that they have made throughout the year. Previously, Amy Easeman, Josh Bridges, Taylor Hedgecock, Amber Hill and Lucy Hall have all won this award. Last year’s winner was Tristan Hockey.
This year we are delighted to be sponsoring Club/Ground of the year for the first time.
This category rewards a club or ground that has made a significant contribution to the shooting experience of CPSA members. Previously, Cambridge Gun Club, Southdown Gun Club, Orston Shooting Ground, Northall Clay Pigeon Club and West Midlands Shooting Ground have won this award. Last year’s winner was Grimsthorpe Shooting Ground.
‘It is a pleasure to sponsor two awards this year
So much work, sometimes stress and above all great effort to make your shooting day value for money with great people who want you to enjoy your experience at your favourite shooting ground.
And for all you focused young shots you are an honour to support on your road for attaining your personal best. Setting an example for those of you who participate growing a great sport with your positivity and strength of character.’ – Gaylia Fallon, General Manager
The awards will take place on the 1st of February 2020 at the Belfry Hotel.
Good luck to everyone nominated.
